Meals
Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast are a welcome times for fellowship and to gather and relax before class. You are welcome to bring your own meal. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soda will be available all day. Specifics for snack and meal provisions will be determined for the St. Andrew in Wausau and the Synod Office in Appleton based on number of students and accommodations.

Devotions
Students have the opportunity to lead a brief devotion before the Friday evening classes begin. Devotions can be based on experiences in your personal prayer time, current events, topics in your classes, or other areas of life. This brief time of focusing on God’s word and God’s message for living will help students focus before class begins. Volunteers are asked to sign-up for this opportunity.

Saturday Morning Worship
Worship is a significant part of the Lay School experience, and affords opportunities for both expression of faith and personal growth. The monthly worship service is planned and led by a group of students and is approximately 20 minutes in length. Every Core Certificate Program student is encouraged to work with a worship planning team at least once before receiving their certificate of completion. To accommodate students who are unable to attend in person, the worship service will be shared on social media. Prayer requests can be captured from Lay School website (Click HERE) or gathered in-person before worship.
